1. How would you describe your style? Kanye West, mixed with John legend. I love to pair Creative Recreations with a dress shirt and a tie and blazer.
2. How did you become so stylish? The area I grew up in, Prince George’s County Maryland (Richest African American county in the U.S.), everyone dresses like they are about to be in a photo shoot, lol. I am inspired by the kids I work with, they have to have a stylish guy to look up to.
3. What advice would you give someone trying to find their personal style? Pick the most random thing in your closet and rock it! Wear stuff that is very very hard to find, limited edition type stuff.
4. What’s the best clothing advice you’ve received? Well I would say to keep a clean shape-up (once every other week). Lastly, Buy a nice pair of hard shoes.

In the past, without thinking, I would say “heck no… unless you’re a rockstar or you’re gay” because those two types are the only ones who, in the past, have been able to successfully pull it off. But I’ve really thought about this question over the past few months or so and I say that wearing skinny jeans totally depends on the type of person wearing them. (plus many types of guys have been wearing them for years)
1. Thin or skinny body frame
Thin guys just look better in skinny jeans, bigger guys just look downright uncomfortable in tight pants- it’s NOT a good look) I have a friend who always talks about how he loves “thick dark-brown girls in skinny jeans”; well it isn’t the same for females…. We don’t rave on and on about loving muscular dudes in skinny jeans, sorry.
2. Rock-star
Almost every rock star wears skinny jeans; it’s just apart of the rock star persona. Most of them end up wearing really tight black leather pants at some point in their careers, and it’s cool because it’s some type of rock-star tradition of sorts.
3. Artistic Personality
People with artistic personalities, be it in visual arts, fashion, music, whatever- they usually have the ability to pull off new trends with ease, and they’re usually the ones to start the trends anyway.
4. Caribbean born or descent
It’s a part of the culture- to some extent. I’m half Jamaican and I’ve seen tons of pictures of my dad and his friends rockin’ not so loose jeans throughout the 80s. Matter of fact he has one picture in a pair of red skinny jeans with a varsity type jacket, leaning against his Beamer- its kinda hot…. I’ll upload it if I can find it.
5.) Non-heterosexual
I hope this doesn’t offend anyone, but let’s be honest gay men can pull of shyt that straight men can’t. It’s just apart of life and the sooner some of you all realize it, the better
A combination of atleast 2 of the 5 criteria is the best, but having atleast one is essential. The 1st point about being skinny is also a must, so really you should atleast match #1 plus any of the other numbers.
Notable skinny jeans wearing music artist: Travis Barker, Lil’ Wayne, Chris Brown, Pharrell, and almost every rockstar.
The bad acting continues. . .
For this event celebrity stylist Ozwald Boateng was the guest judge. The guys were divided in a group of 4 in which one guy had to be the spokesperson while the other 3 dress up for a particular event/occasion: 1. Spokerperson at a Country Club 2.) Skybox Party 3.) Charity Event aboard a Yacht. Stan, Zenel, and E6 win simultaneously, which left group A as the winners with immunity (Stan & E6′s team).
When it came down to elimination. D-Boy had 1 black ball, Zenel had 2, Mikey P had 2, and Kesan had 7. In the end Mr.Bentley sent Zenel and Mikey P home because he felt like they were already doing pretty good for themselves as actors and/or models. (Even though Kesan is a actor as well and a rapper, but whatever, lol. . .this show is too fake).
Every man should know how to a tie a tie. When tying a tie make sure you have a dimple in it; the dimple is also known as the “Wall Street Clevage”.
Fonzworth Bentley and his guest judges looked superb all episode.
Kanye West, Chris Brown, and Lupe Fiasco all seem to be fans of the band jackets. And the new Converse commercial featuring Santogold in a marching-band jacket has seemed to make the trend even more popular … everybody wants a band jacket now!
Lupe Fiasco has some of the most meticulously designedmarching band-esque jackets I’ve ever seen.
I’m sure Dr. Romanelli helped to create a few.
(Dr.Romanelli has designed several of Lupe’s jackets)
Wearable marching band jacket are actually pretty hard to come by. The style is popular, but only a few brands and stores carry it, so the jacket is sold out everywhere. I found a website that carries some unique variations of the marching band:
Life Research Group LRG carries variations of the
marching band jacket too

This new style is also somehwhat of a tribute to Michael Jackson- who started it all. You can find many of these retro style jackets on eBay.com for a really good price.
Check out Santogold in her marching band jacket in the Converse commercial:

There are so many different types of looks you can rock to the club. And depending on what kind of club you’re going to you may dress up or dress casual. But overall there is a great basic club look that will surely catch the right attention…
The basic club look: slight v-neck tee, quality dark denim jeans (that fit you), dope sneakers that fit your personal style, and a fitted hat (preferably an A’s fitted, lol). You should also wear a nice belt, stunner shades, and a stylish watch.
