From the perfectly cut hair to the spread collar.
Tom looks extremely handsome in his Armani tuxedo.

Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Diddy always brings it pretty hard and last night he brought it.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
I like it when men wear suits that subtly match their personality.
I feel like this 3 piece suit fits his mysterious demeanor.
I may not recommend this for everyone, but it looks good on him.

Sagging Crotches: MC Hammer / Harem Pants

If you’re observant or if you’re a frequent visitor to sites like style.com you’ve probably noticed a trend that started a few seasons ago (in 2007) and just isn’t going away…

This trend can be seen on women and men throughout Europe- London, Paris, etc etc, but most Americans haven’t quite caught on yet. I think its because we so vividly see MC Hammer and think “Too Legit to Quit” in our heads… but Dior Homme, Phillip Lim, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, and many other designers have chosen to re-introduce these baggy saggy crotch heavy pants… Me personally? I think I’ll stay away from these suckers for awhile, but who knows maybe I’ll come around by June.

The Perfect Designer: Ralph Lauren SS 2009

If I had to name one designer that never fails, that always creates great garments that can be worn forever, then I would name Ralph Lauren. His clothes are perfect. If you really really want to have undeniable immaculate style then just swear by Ralph Lauren.

He’s Got A Woodie: The Splinter

I was taking my monthly stroll through a few auto blogs and saw something that was really cool… a wooden car.

Here’s a blurb from autoblog.com:

The world’s greenest supercar project is progressing nicely. The last time we checked in with Joe Harmon and his team of ~~woodsmen~~ craftsmen from North Carolina State University, the all-wooden car’s hand-laid bodywork had been mated with the chassis, which was awaiting installation of the twin-supercharged, 32-valve Cadillac-sourced V8 engine and six-speed rear-mounted transaxle from a modern Chevrolet Corvette. Those 600 ponies will be funneled to the rear wheels, which have center hubs made from pressed and laminated wood, naturally. Even the transverse leaf springs are made from orange osage wood.

Work on the project has slowed so Harmon and his colleagues can finish school, but the Splinter continues to garner attention having appeared in a flattering piece published by Automobile Magazine. While we wait for Team Splinter to graduate and finish the car once and for all, take a look at these new high-res renderings of the arts and crafts supercar.

The Splinter is one of those rare projects that’s truly inspiring, and Harmon seeks to prove that wood is anything but an outdated material with no place – outside the dashes of expensive luxury cars, of course – in modern automobiles. Point taken.

A Cookbook for College Gents

Being a gentleman is about more than just looking nice- it also includes having certain skills that just add to your… “Je ne sais quoi”- to say the least. Being able to cook is a great skill to have even if you’re just a college freshman. Don’t wait until you’re 24/26 and buying your first condo to learn to cook; start when you’re 18, in college, and only have a basic kitchen and George Foreman grill.
