SWANK or DANK: Keep Canvas Shoes

Feels like forever since we’ve done a swank or dank… let’s try to make this a weekly thing. Okay, so this weeks item….

When I look at this shoe, I think summer time… perhaps a nice stroll through the park on a sunday afternoon, maybe grab a bit of italian-ice to keep you cool as you walk hand and hand with your signifcant other or maybe even as you people watch on a comfortable park bench.

Keep Gingham & Stripe Canvas Footwear, $66

So what do you think?

(for the urban gent newbies, “swank” is good and “dank” is bad)

  1. Definiitely dank. The two-tone colorway with distinct patterns is perfect for summer. Plus the shoe looks very versatile, could be worn athletically or with a suit.

  2. real swank!

  3. SWANK! Very cool…wouldn't want to get them dirty though.

  4. Definitely swank!

  5. These shoes are unique. Its not like common canvas shoes with the same pattern. I like this one because it of the front and the back.

I have to go with Swank!

  6. Definitely swank – the shoe could pass for well for an asian urban/style, even, with some slick slim gray rolled up selvage denim from Nom de Guerre and stripe gray/black v-neck from j.crew..

  7. Dank. I like the imagery you gave, but the opposing textures arent doing it for me.
