Tatted Up: Converse Inspiration

This tattoo is pretty dope, huh? We received it via email from dedicated Urban Gentleman reader Lila (yes, there are girls that are dedicated to reading this blog as well, lol). The tat is clever and original, I know people get “brand tattoos” all the time, but this one actually makes sense… if you’re a dedicated Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star fan. And though some of you may have heard of the Converse ankle logo tattoo, not everyone has seen it.  What do you think?

Keep it classic with Converse Style, Check out their variety of designs… low-tops, hi-tops, boots, John Varvatos, Jack Purcell, etc.

  1. no rudeness intended. but i think those look ridiculously stupid. just another thing mass corporations has gotten us to do. that is what i call "free advertisement"

  2. Anytime you wear a product it is free advertisement. So that point is irrelevant.

I think they look cute especially on a girl.

The only thing I would worry about is when you are in the corporate world and have to wear a dress and heals.

I have often thought about getting a nike dunk tattoo'd on me. Tattoo's are an expression of who you are. They should tell a story. And she is telling hers. So keep writing girl, keep writing.

  3. I am not a fan of it, but someone really must like it to have it permanently put on their body.

I have been a HUGE converse fanatic since the age of 9 (I'm 20 now), and about six years ago I got it in my head that my first tattoo would be the "Converse Ankle logo tat". I thought I was ssooooooooo creative for coming up with the idea all by myself, and that nobody would ever get this except me.

Needless to say, this post has crushed my childhood dreams. Fml.

hahahaha! No but really, its not that big of a deal. I'm glad that there are other brand-loyal ppl out there as wacky as me :-)
Am I tad bit jealous I didn't get to take credit for this? Of course, lol. But oh well.

AWESOME POST! I love this picture, I love this idea, and I love Urban Gentleman.

  5. I love it and I want it. I had seen it before, but just once, it looks RAD hahaha.
tattoos are about thinking outside the box and that definitely does it.
