Japanese jeans are on top these days, and Evisu is one of the top brands stealing everyone’s thunder. They’re a happy medium between extra baggy and extra fitted.

For some reason, not everyone knows they make jeans. But they do – and they’re flawless. Stars like to rock these on the red carpet.
THE URBAN GENTLEMAN
A mini-history lesson: The polo shirt was first known as a tennis shirt. It was designed by 7-time French Grand Slam tennis pro, Rene Lacoste. He designed it because he needed a more comfortable shirt to play tennis in. He first wore it in the 1926 US Open Championship and in 1927 he added the crocodile emblem. Polo players began to heavily wear the shirt in the 1930s (after Lacoste began to mass produce them)- hence the nickname "polo shirt". In 1972 Ralph Lauren included the "polo shirt" as a prominent part of his line called Polo- to further boost popularity. Many English speaking westerners started calling the tennis shirt a "polo shirt" on a widespread level because of Ralph Lauren immense popularity . . . see, you learn something new everyday okay, back to the list. . .
This is the polo that everyone thinks of when they say the word polo. The fit of these are the best and now Ralph Lauren allows you to "create-your-own" polo.

Rocawear – the Hip-Hop polo

Other Popular choices:
my thoughts– I’m not a fan of the packaging, you don’t get enough gum to me
and it isn’t that powerful.
best flavor– Peppermint or Artic Chill
my thoughts– “Dirty Mouth? Clean it up”. . . cool commercials, but the actual gum
doesn’t live up to the hype to me.
best flavor– Wintermint
my thoughts– who doesn’t love the tin can, it’s like vintage candy; always a good choice.
best flavor– any of them really. . . Wintergreen
Where to buy:
Always remember that its ALWAYS best to get minty flavors, citrus and other type flavors are just like buying candy- you might as well buy jellybeans. Your goal is to have the freshest breath you can. . . so you can snag the chick you want:-)
(for those who didn’t get my Heizman reference earlier (it was a down south song), click here )
My top picks (in no particular order):
1. Lebron James
He’s called King James for a reason and style is definitely one.
2. David Beckham
He’s always at the top of my best-dressed list. What can I say those Brits just have great style. Not only is he the new face of Emporio Armani, he also has a wife that’s equally as chic- Victoria Beckham.
3. Thierry Henry
Some of you Americans may not know who he is (lol), but my international readers and true sports fans know that he is a sharp dresser. His charm and style has landed him a contract as an international “brand ambassador” for Tommy Hilfiger.
4. Dwayne Wade
He always shows up to award shows and events wearing the latest trends and wearing them well. And besides. . . it seems like alot of gentleman are trying to get the “Dwayne Wade look”.
Will Demps – he’s most women’s picture of perfection and his fashion sense has allowed him to snag Hollywood hotties like R&B singer Letoya Luckett.
Tom Brady – he dresses how I expect and want athletes to dress- stylish & clean. I’m sure his girlfriend, supermodel Gisele, gives him plenty of fashion tips.
Terrell Owens – some say cocky athletes always have great style. . .hmmm, I don’t know about that, but T.O definitely does.
Reggie Bush – he’s actually one of the best dressed men in the NFL, he dresses up & down almost flawlessly. He has the complete Urban Gentleman look, he just doesn’t have the UG swagger or class quite yet. . .but I’m sure he’ll get there soon.
