All Saints: Elegantly Worn & Rugged Shoes

Photobucket

I've been meaning to mention this for awhile, but All Saints hands down has one of the freshest collections of military boots and worn-in shoes… "elegantly worn and rugged" as we like to call it 'round here (remember those Golden Goose kicks we featured back in the day, yea, well those were not elegantly worn, they were just sorta… dirty). And though we meant to put you on to them earlier, it seems like waiting worked out because many of AllSaints shoes are half off right now (sizes are very limited though, so if you want them be sure to order soon).  A few of our favs…

An Hour Shopping Excursion

If you guys haven’t already been shopping, please be sure to go and pick up some quality staple wardrobe items “for the low.” Meaning you know those Ferragamos you wanted in September, but you didn’t get them because they were $500, well they’re probably more like $198 now and that’s well worth it especially if they’re a pair that you really really like. (For Example….) I’m changing my look and I’ve been in search of the perfect pair of riding boots- I had seen a couple of really nice pair but they were $300-600 and I mean I just simply didn’t have that to spend. I got lucky a few days ago and found a pair of Coach riding boots that were $600, but had gone down to $200 and I mean they’re absolutely perfect- and they were the last pair in my size in Georgia! The best deals are hands-down at department stores like Macys. So don’t let the new year come in without making atleast an hour visit to your local mall or shopping plaza.
List of things to buy if found at a great deal:
1. Boots
2. Blazers/Sport Coats
3. Leather jacket
4. (if you’re a business man) slacks and dress-shirts

(boot above: Kenneth Cole Lace-Up boot, originally $225, online for $139, can be bought in stores for even less range- $79-$129)

War Boots: Jefferey Campbell

Jeffery Campbell has some pretty rad boots. And these old school combat boots- with the tattered canvas, will make you look as if you have authentic battle experience… well, not really.

$249, oaknyc.com
on sale for $174 until Sunday.

Introducing a new feature to The Urban Gentleman called Swank or Dank. Basically I’ll post an item and you let me know what you think… SWANK or DANK! For those who aren’t familiar with these terms:

Swank= cool, stylish
Dank= crap, bad.

It’s a southern thang… lol.
