As the season shifts from chilly fall to frosty winter, it's natural to want to stay warm indoors. While this reaction to cold weather is logical, it can be pretty bad for the midsection. I mean, it's called a "winter body" for a reason. Nike's #GetOutHere campaign is the solution for these excuses. It encourages people to brave the cold with their new gear that keeps you both warm and dry while training outdoors.
We were lucky enough to head to Chicago to train with Nike and use some of the new gear first-hand. We got to try the Nike Pro Hyperwarm Compression tights, the Nike Pro Hyperwarm fitted top, and the Nike Therma-Sphere Max Training Jacket.
The Nike Pro Hyperwarm Compression tights and Nike Pro Hyperwarm fitted top are made with breathable Dri-Fit Max fabric and thermal mesh that wicks away sweat and keeps you warm. Trust me, they both did their jobs while we were battling the wind chill factor in the Windy City. But my personal favorite piece of training gear was the Nike Therma-Sphere Max Training Jacket. Its slim fit and stretch fabric let you move freely, and its Thermal Dri-Fit fabric wicks sweat. The lightweight 3-layer composite fabric keeps you warm while the DWR (durable water resistant) finish keeps you dry in rainy conditions.
Since this is The Urban Gent, style and function go hand-in-hand. Nike is known worldwide for providing both quality and style, and the products from this collection don't disappoint. Offering different color ways, I'm sure you'll find something that fits your personal style. So get some dope new gear, and #GetOutHere. After all, summer bodies are made in winter.

The Urban Gent x Jeffrey Rudes
Lately we’ve been prepping you for the cold weather – a couple of Fall looks to sport with your dog, our favorite scenic sweaters, and of course, a declaration that one of our chosen sweater material. We were sent a beautiful luxurious camel hair and wool sweater from designer Jeffrey Rüdes, who has just opened a store at 57 Greene Street in SoHo, New York.
The new flagship store
Iconic denim designer – Jeffrey Rudes
Jeffery was the creator of J BRAND – a premium denim brand. He sold J BRAND in 2014 to start his new namesake brand – Jeffrey Rüdes. And although he’s no longer singularly in the denim business, his new line is meant to compliment it. A nice pair of jeans can accompany many pieces in his collection. You don’t have to, of course, but you can and you’ll look good doing it. So naturally, that is what we did with our Rüdes winter knit.
Perfect fit and very soft
An ivory crew neck sweater is the perfect winter neutral. With dark skin it’ll beautifully contrast, with paler skin it’ll beautifully blend – almost like a nude. Both perfect palettes for this winter season. Get this winter staple, here.
We paired our ivory wool and camel hair sweater with dark gray denim and brown tasseled loafers. This gave us an elegant, mature, neutral palette. The sweater would also look great if paired with matching ivory jeans and black velvet loafers -or- straight fit blue denim and your favorite pair of classic white kicks. How would you wear it?

It's almost sweater weather, so that got my thinking about one of my favorite sweaters (above). Initially featured back in 2011… since then a couple of designers have made some scenic sweaters, but few, if any, as great as this.
